Terms and Conditions of Membership

The applicant or the parent/guardian of the applicant under 18 years of age on behalf of the applicant, hereby applies for

membership/renewal of membership to Actonville Spurs Cricket Club for the duration of the current cricket season and agrees

(should the applicant be accepted) to the following:

1. That the details specified on this form are accurate and correct and hereby give consent for me or my child/ward to participate in the activities of the Club, including games, training, tournaments and sporting tours.
   
   
2. That the applicant will abide by the rules, Constitution, Policies and Codes of Conduct of Actonville Spurs Cricket Club the Eastern Cricket Union and any other tournament or events rules that the Club participates in.
   
   
3. The applicant will behave in a sporting manner that will enhance the overall reputation of the Club and theapplicant's growth in cricket.
4. The applicant agrees that coaching, team selection and batting and bowling orders and field placements will be left to the coaches and administrators (Captain), who will always act in the best interest of the Club first.
   
   
5. That the applicant will pay the fees and/or agree in writing with the Club Treasurer terms on which to pay the fees specified for membership to the Club before September.
   
   
6. The applicant acknowledges that he/she is aware that the registration fees for new applicants and one third of the subscription fees for new and existing applicants are non-refundable fees incurred on acceptance of the applicant as a member and will not be refunded to the applicant in the event of the applicant terminating his/her membership before the end of the season.
   
   
7. The applicant acknowledges that failure to pay the fees specified for the season and failure to abide by the rules, policies, codes of conduct of Actonville Spurs Cricket Club and the Eastern Cricket Union may result in the termination of membership of the Club, in which event the applicant will remain liable for payment of all fees due at the date of termination.
   
   
8. The applicant acknowledges that all communications for games will be sent via social media or Electronic and that the applicant, or the parent/guardian of the applicant under 18 years of age on behalf of the applicant, will ensure that they respond to communications.
   
   
9. The applicant agrees to respond timely and by the due date to requests sent on social media or electronic communications for games, training and other events or any other form of communication sent from the Club.
   
   
10.  The applicant, or the parent /guardian of the applicant under 18 years of age on behalf of the applicant, agrees that transport and transport arrangements to and from training, games and events will be their responsibility and not that of the Club coaches or administrators.
    
    
11. The applicant agrees and acknowledges that it is the applicant, or the parent /guardian of the applicant under 18 years of age on behalf of the applicant responsibility to contact the coordinators directly if the applicant is not receiving communications through social media or Electronic, or if the applicant’s contact details change.
    
    
12. The applicant declares that he/she is not a member of any other Eastern Cricket Union affiliated Club and if so, is in possession of a letter of release from the previous Club.
    
    
13. The applicant authorizes Actonville Spurs Cricket Club and the Eastern Cricket Union to use the applicant’s playing records and/or pictures in publications to promote the Club.
    
    
14. The wearing of a helmet is compulsory for all players batting in the Junior & Senior Competition.
    
    
15. The applicant agrees to make good all damage to and/or loss of property including buildings, facilities, furniture or equipment, which may occur as a result of willful and malicious intent by the applicant.
    
    
16. Actonville Spurs Cricket Club will monitor drug testing accordance with health department of all members who are above 15 Years and older. The Screening or testing of Corona Virus will be done when required according to Government Regulations and Eastern Cricket.
    
    
17. I hereby agree that Actonville Spurs Cricket Club, their management, administrators, coaches, coordinators, staff, affiliates, sponsors and members shall not be held responsible for any loss of property and/or injuries sustained whilst attending coaching sessions, playing in games, participating in activities before, during and after the games or training, including transportation to and from training and games, these being arranged for and on behalf of the Club.
    
    By signing hereunder, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, accept and will adhere to the above as well as the Actonville Spurs Cricket Club Code of Conduct and the Actonville Spurs Cricket Club Cricket Policy that I have received.
